*** May Contain Spoilers ***

I have just become a part of the For The Love of Books blogger family and before I joined I was asked if I would read paranormal books, well I'm very proud to say that I have just read and enjoyed Apartment 2B, my first paranormal romance book. I wasn't really sure what to expect but I had heard great things about this book so I thought I would broaden my horizons.
I think it will be very difficult to review this book without giving away too much of the key plot and therefore spoiling the book, but here goes.
***Sidney is a young adult who has suffered through all her teenage years at the hands of her abusive mother, when her mother suddenly dies Sidney is relieved knowing her abuse is at last behind her. She manages to get a housekeeper job looking after an elderly lady. The job comes with accomodation - Apartment 2B.  It is in the stairwell of the apartments that she meets Liam. Liam is her protector, he keeps her safe from other men in the block. He encouages her to be braver and allow people in. However, Liam has to leave suddenly leaving Sydney distraught and unable to function. That is until Lane, Liam's twin brother arrives. He and Sydney fall in love after overcoming the mystery of Liam's departure. The strength and bravery of Sydney is what shines through. The author has done a great job of making her a strong alpha female who can also show how vulnerable she is. Liam and Lane have their problems but the author focuses more on how these men support Sydney. They make you fall in love with them and really make you question what is happening. This review will all make sense when you read the book. I really enjoyed it, giving it 4 out of 5 stars. I certainly will look for this genre again.
